The ESOF2010 logo

It is a strong impact logo, with a personality. Its brilliant and lively colours convey joy. A bright joy, full of energy and able to reach everybody, not only scientists.

The motto “Passion for Science” recalls “Passion lives here”, the motto of the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino.
The motto is carved in coloured boxes that deliberately mimic the Mendeleev Periodic Table of Elements: at the same time a pillar of modern science and an image immediately recognizable by anyone.

Next to the coloured boxes, we find the logo of every ESOF edition: a sketch of the world where two lines cross on the city hosting the event.
